To strengthen our team in the areas of Travel and Home, we are looking for a motivated and committed Junior Buyer, 80%, as of 16.11.2026, at the Basel Headquarters location. ##

Your responsibility

• You support the Buyer in the development and implementation of the category strategy in line with the company's financial goals.
• You contribute to the development of an economically strong and customer-oriented assortment in the Travel and Home Utility categories and promote profitable sales and market share growth.
• You create assortment overviews, item lists and option/variant analyses.
• You act as a hub between our suppliers, department stores, the back office and the distribution centers.
• You support the ordering process and the maintenance of the inventory management system.
• You prepare supplier meetings and negotiations, including price comparisons, margin analyses and benchmarks.

Your profile

• You have a basic commercial education and ideally further training in marketing or purchasing.
• You bring 1-3 years of experience in the areas of purchasing, category management, planning or retail.
• You are IT-savvy and use the common MS Office programs confidently.
• You speak fluent German and French and communicate in English without problems.
