As an HR Generalist, you will take overall responsibility for the human resources department of the Lungenliga beider Basel. In this versatile key position, you are the central contact person for the management, executives, and employees, and you ensure professional, service-oriented, and legally compliant HR work.

In doing so, you combine the operational support of the entire employee lifecycle with the targeted further development of our HR processes and instruments.

Your tasks

• Overall HR responsibility: Responsibility for all HR topics along the employee lifecycle – from talent acquisition to departure.
• Recruiting and onboarding: Responsibility for the entire recruitment process in close cooperation with executives as well as ensuring professional onboarding.
• Advisory and support: Competent advice and support for the management and executives in personnel, labor law, and organizational matters, as well as being a contact person for employees.
• HR administration: Responsibility for the entire personnel administration as well as independent operational processing of employment contracts, contract changes, employment references, and other administrative HR processes.
• Payroll interface: Coordination and quality assurance of the externally managed payroll as well as ensuring the necessary HR mutations and social insurance processes.
• HR development: Review, optimization, and further development of HR processes, regulations, and instruments.
• Personnel development and employee retention: Development and implementation of suitable measures to promote employees, strengthen employer attractiveness, and ensure long-term employee retention.
• HR controlling: Creation and analysis of relevant HR key figures as well as participation in personnel planning and budgeting.
• HR projects: Independent management and implementation of HR projects as well as participation in cross-organizational development projects.

What you bring with you

• Completed higher HR vocational training (e.g., eidg. HR-Fachausweis, eidg. Diplom, or comparable qualification).
• Several years of sound professional experience in a wide-ranging HR generalist function, ideally with overall responsibility for an HR area.
• Very good knowledge of Swiss labor law and the social insurance system.
• Experience in professional advice and support for executives.
• Enjoyment in actively shaping HR topics while simultaneously taking on operational and administrative tasks independently.
• Strong service orientation, high social competence, and a sure sense for different stakeholder groups.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and pragmatic way of working as well as a high degree of personal responsibility and discretion.
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing.
